She Tried to Deport an Indian. Then the Internet Found Her.

A TikTok dance at the World War II Memorial sparked MAGA outrage — until Indians online turned the tables.

The hullabaloo began around Thursday, March 5, when Dallas-based Madhu Raju and a woman, both of Indian origin, dared to dance to “Don’t Rush” in front of the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. They were smiling, moving to the beat, and genuinely pretty good. But it didn’t take long for MAGA accounts to start calling for their deportation: “Some places deserve respect, not the IT department making socially awkward TikTok dances. They ALL have to go back.” The tweet racked up over 5.8 million views and 9,700 likes. But it didn’t end there.

Soon, one woman, who went by the handle @juicystar1908, made the vague rallying cry into something very real. She tagged Raju’s employer, Palo Alto Networks (whose CEO is also of Indian origin), and wrote they must fire him “before your legal team gets contacted early next week.” The Internet was quickly divided: Indians who pointed out that threatening a person’s job and immigration status over a dance was a step too far, and H-1B haters who believe all Indians must go. This time, though, one thing was different. Within days, Indians online had banded together and doxxed @juicystar1908, who turned out to be Canadian. The woman quickly made her posts private and told The Juggernaut she couldn’t speak to us “as per her attorney’s advice.” How did we get here?
